These resources do require a free account at Sophia Institute's teacher site which gives educators additional resources to assist in the spread of the Gospel. In addition to the videos themselves, there are free viewing and educational guides, both for elementary and high-school level students. The videos are free to watch online or to download for classroom use! The current video is on the Eucharist and there are at least two more are in the works. Sophia Institute Press publishes and distributes faithful Catholic classics and new texts by the great enduring figures of the Catholic intellectual tradition. The images are clear, engaging, and the animations, while subtle, perfectly accent the message of the topic at hand. These videos, while short in length, do not skimp on the quality of information in them. Sophia SketchPad presents the truths of the Sacraments and the Catholic faith through short 6-7 minute white-board animated videos. The site is called Sophia SketchPad and is a great resource. As part of this effort, they have come out with a great new site that offers free videos and educational resources to Catholic students, teachers, and educators. Sophia Institute Press is one of the world's top Catholic publishers and has a major focus on educational and catachetical resources in order to spur on the Church's mission of evangelization. This morning when I saw one of these links, it was something that I simply had to click and follow up on.
